About Us
Canopy Couple are a tree care business based in Derby, Western Australia, serving the Kimberley region. We are owned and operated by partners, Briar Waugh and Francis Delaude.
Francis grew up in France, working originally as a Machinist. He now excels at felling trees and ground-based rigging techniques. Briar hails from New Zealand and is the climber in our team of two. She has an excellent eye for detail and enjoys learning about new advances in the Arboricultural industry.
We share a deep respect for nature.
Our Mission
Our mission is to advocate for the use of correct pruning techniques to safeguard trees in our community. We adhere to AS 4373-2007 Australian standards, pruning of amenity trees.
Experience and Education
Briar and Francis share three years of experience working in the Arboriculture industry. We are fully insured, qualified Arborists.
Why hire an Arborist?
We have been trained in tree ID, health and risk assessments, alongside correct pruning practices. The climbing and rigging equipment we invest in is designed specifically for our industry. Our knowledge, skillset, and equipment ensure our work is of the highest standard.
Safety
We follow any procedures necessary to safeguard ourselves and our customers. Our equipment is maintained after use each day. Canopy Couple are fully insured, with public liability and accident insurance to further safeguard our customers.
